Girls Camp

I just got back from Girls Camp!  This was the first time I'd been since I was in high school.  To be honest, I wasn't completely looking forward to it again, but I had a BLAST!  I forgot how much fun it was.   We had such a good time and I wouldn't have missed it for anything now.  Evan stayed with my Mom so I was lucky to have her close so that I could go.  It was really different from when I went to camp.  Some of the activities were painting nails and curling hair!  Most of the walkways were cement too, not dirt!  There were even bathrooms in the cabins, so it was pretty high rollin for camp :)  So I definitely couldn't complain.

This is where the girls heart attacked my bed.  So fun right?!

Roomie Reunion

Dave's college roommate got married this weekend in the LA temple and all of his other roommates came out to see the wedding.  These were his roommates while we were dating so I knew them as well.  So it was fun to hang out like old times!  After the wedding and reception we went to LA and saw the Chinese Man Theater and walked the crazy streets of LA for a bit.  It was so fun that everyone could get together again.

The Many Emotions of Evan

It's sad, but I love it when he pouts.  He didn't do it as long once I turned the camera on, you know how that works :)

Evan is teething and he is so ravenous all the time!  He just can't get enough of putting things in his mouth.  I find it quite comical.

Spontaneous Visit from the Garners

Thursday morning we got a call from the Garners (Dave's parents) that they were going to come see us for the weekend!  It was a spur of the moment thing and they showed up Saturday morning!  We hadn't seen Garrett since before he left his mission so it was so nice to finally hang out with him again.

We picked them up from the airport at 8 am, went to a delish breakfast restaurant in Huntington Beach and then spent most of the day there.  Then we went to Downtown Disney and stayed to see the fireworks.  Of course, just our luck, they were cancelled that night!

It was a short trip but it was definitely worth it and we're so glad they came!

This picture is what we had to stroll Evan around in at Downtown Disney!  We didn't have room to put our stroller in the car with all the beach stuff and everyone's luggage.  I forgot the baby carrier so we had to stroll him around in this little beach contraption thing.  You put all your stuff in it and drag it across the sand so you don't have to carry 100 things.  People gave us some strange looks and on top of it all it squeaked!  We felt quite ghetto but we had a good time with it!

This last one wasn't with the Garners actually, but it was on Memorial Day when we went to the park.  It was his first time in a swing and he loved it.
