We weren't expecting Evan Matthew for a few more weeks as most of you know! He came on December 27, at 7:01 p.m. exactly two weeks early. Dave and I were driving to the mall and my water broke. We went to the hospital and I had him eight hours later. He came weighing 7 pounds and 15 ounces. Sounds like he would have been a nine pounder if he'd been on time!
The little guy's had a hard time eating enough food, which is pretty ironic considering his parents' appetite :) So he's had to stay the last two nights in the hospital without me. That's been tough coming home without my baby, but he's been doing much better so hopefully he's coming home tomorrow morning!
The funny thing is, Monday morning I said I needed to take a picture because I haven't taken one since I was 22 weeks. I ended up going into labor a few hours later so it's a good thing I did because I wouldn't have had time to otherwise! Maybe it was my intuition that I was going to go early :)
We can't wait for tomorrow when we get to go pick him and bring him home! It will be the best New Years Eve ever :)

I am so happy for you another Wright baby boy arrives in this world. I think it is so funny how many boys your family had this year and a new one in April. Congrats.
Congrats to the both of you. Welcome to parenthood, it's the greatest. I still can't figure out who little Evan looks like.

Congrats Laura he is sooo cute! And i love his name. Im so sorry hes not home with you yet :( I know how hard it is, Luke was in the NICU for 5 days and on and off in the hospital for the first few months. If there is anything you need please let me know :) Congrats again!
YEA for coming early! You look gorgeous in your last pic being pregnant AND totally great at the hospital. I am so happy for you! Now I must come to Cali in order to meet the little guy. Congrats!
Oh Laura-Congrats! He's beautiful and dang you look good pregnant! Good luck with the recovery and remember the sleepless nights will be over before you know it! Love his name too!!

We love him! Congrats! He is adorable! I keep pointing him to Hudson to prepare him for whats coming! I can't wait for our boys to be best friends!
I just can't get over how much he looks like Dave. Until you were sure what his name was we've been calling him Dave's mini'me. :) But Evan is much cuter :) We are so excited for you guys! Can't wait to meet him in person.
