We went to Playa del Carmen and loved it down there! It was SUPER hot and humid though — like I've never experienced before. We visited Tulum, ancient ruins, that overlooked the ocean. It was gorgeous.
Our hotel was called Riviera Maya. It was a small place, but very "homey". It was perfect. I actually preferred to stay and swim in our pool instead of going to the beach some days. Most days we walked around the town, went to shops, and ate delicious Mexican food. Dave was teasing me that my stomach wouldn't be able to handle the dirty Mexican food off the street. But guess who got sick the last two days of the trip? It was pretty funny, but I felt a little bad for him too :)
One of the last days we took a ferry to Cozumel, an island just off of Mexico, and rented a scooter. We drove around most of the coast of the island. There were tons of secluded locations. The picture of Dave on the motorcycle is on one of those spots. Priceless picture isn't it...
Dave and I had the time of our lives! We talk about it all the time, how much fun we had. It was perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing!

The water in that first picture looks so beautiful! I'm so glad you did a post of your honeymoon. It was fun to see all of the pictures. Can't wait for thanksgiving!!
