Our first night we went to a Broadway and saw Billy Elliot. We sat in the 3rd row and could see everything! It was perfect for our first night there and we absolutely loved the show.
One of our favorite things from the trip was walking the Brooklyn Bridge. When Ryan told us we should walk it I had this terrible image in my mind of walking right next to the cars with a storm and almost getting blown into the cars' way from the wind! But it was actually a beautiful walk—and it didn't take too long to walk across it. We'd definitely recommend it.
We spent a lot of time with my brother Jason. One night we walked around town and this picture is at the Natural History Museum. He's such a funny guy that he's always fun to have around. He'll always come up with something random or off the wall to say—he's a crack up.
Our last day we didn't have an agenda and just walked around the city all day. It was so nice to just walk around and see whatever we wanted. Usually when I'm in New York I'm always on my way somewhere, so it was nice to just walk around and take our sweet time.
After we went into the NYC Public Library, we sat on the front steps and watched 3 black guys entertain people walking by with Michael Jackson impersonations and hand stands. It was pretty entertaining. I guess that's one of the great things about NY is seeing the random stuff on the streets!
