Our First Halloween!

So as you can tell by the pictures...we didn't have the most traditional Halloween night! We weren't creative enough to get costumes together, but we had fun anyway! First we went out to eat at a restaurant. I know it's pretty typical and didn't really set the night apart from any other, but we had a good time anyway!

Then we went to Target and bought SEQUENCE with one of our wedding gift cards. If you've never played Sequence, you have to try it!! We got addicted to it while living with Alicia and Joel. We'd get out the dessert and candy and get a real competitive game going on! We've missed it so we decided to buy it. It's still fun to play with two people too.

So on our way home we stopped by the store and grabbed some candy. It was Halloween...we had to! So then we made pumpkin cookies and played Sequence the rest of the night.

Like I said, it wasn't a typical Halloween night, but we had a blast with each other and were glad we didn't have to go to another Single's Ward Halloween party one more year!

What a fun night!! Way better than your typical dress up & mingle halloween party! Young married life is the best isn't it? Joel and I will have to practice sequence before thanksgiving!! Miss you guys!

Do I get the credit of teaching you how to have fun? Sounds like you know how to let food lead the way! Is that from Wilcox genes or Garner genes? Can't wait until Thanksgiving. I'm up for Sequence...
